  4.        RECON is the copyrighted property of Peter Ogden. You are granted
  5.        a limited license to use, copy, and distribute RECON provided the
  6.        following conditions are met:

  8.           A. Copying and  distribution fees may not  exceed fifteen (15)
  9.              Australian dollars.
  10.  
  11.           B. RECON may  only be distributed in  its original, unmodified
  12.              state.
  13.  
  14.        This software  is distributed under  the user supported  software
  15.        concept.  Though RECON is copyrighted, you are encouraged to copy
  16.        and  distribute  this  program  to  others.  The  user  supported
  17.        software  concept (also  known as  "shareware") is  an attempt to
  18.        provide quality  software at low cost.  Both the  user and author
  19.        benefit from this plan.  The user  will benefit by being  able to
  20.        "test drive" software thoroughly before purchasing it. The author
  21.        benefits by  being able to  enter the commercial  software market
  22.        while avoiding the high cost of commercial distribution.

  24.        This concept  helps many independent authors  and small companies
  25.        that would otherwise be discouraged from developing and promoting
  26.        their ideas.  It can only work with your support. If you obtain a
  27.        user supported program  from a friend and you  are still using it
  28.        after a few weeks,  then it is obviously  worth something to you,
  29.        and a contribution should be sent.
